The scent of bergamask is very strong. Calabrian bergamot and musk, two distinctly different fragrance ingredients, are combined to recreate the intense sensation of attraction and repulsion. First, it has a strong animalic note, and second, it has a citrusy note that is very fresh and blooming. This fragrant play's second act is aggressively expansive and incredibly long-lasting, despite its initial freshness. This smells like a freshly killed animal with an extreme amount of perspiration, similar to a bergamot peel.
