Idylle is a fragrance in Guerlain’s Legendary line. A collection of iconic perfumes crafted over a century by five generations of perfumers. These legendary pioneer scents form a unique olfactive collection, which the Maison Guerlain strives to maintain. Thierry Wasser portrays the sensual and romantic image of the idyll in this blend of chypre sensuality and the intimate feature of white musks with a bouquet of flowers, the emblem of a confession of love.
Designed by Raymond Guerlain, its iconic “inverted heart” bottle is underscored with graceful scrolls typical of Art Nouveau. Its avant-garde stopper, in the form of a hollowed heart, evokes the delicate romanticism of this perfumery masterpiece and represented a real technical feat at the time.
