The nose behind this fragrance is Rosendo Mateu. The top notes are Rose Petals, Floral Notes, and Jasmine; the middle notes are Patchouli, Sweet Notes, and Spices; the base notes are Vanilla, Thailand Oud, Laotian Oud, and Siam Benzoin.

Rosendo Mateu No. 7 has a particularly delicate floral top note of rose petals that quickly blends with the heart notes of the fragrance. The protagonist of this creation is the patchouli, obtained in fields in Indonesia, where its leaves dry and are later wetted with water to ferment and distill over many hours in iron stills. The patchouli used by Rosendo Mateu in the fragrance No. 7 is obtained through a molecular distillation process that allows to obtaining of the highest possible quality of this raw material. The heart notes consist of spicy and floral notes such as jasmine, which come strongly to the fore with animal hints. The base notes are a blend of high-quality Laos and Thai oud with vanilla absolute from Madagascar and benzoin from Siam.
